Because, no, he didn't fancy Bill's chances against any of them and, more importantly, he didn't want Bill to hear the things they might say to attack him. Barty headed into the bedroom to get changed and Crowley looked at Bill, feeling a little awkward. It was a weird situation.

"I've met Gabriel. He's... intense. Super weird." Very scary in a way he couldn't even begin to explain. "Don't think getting my ass beaten by him is gonna be much help."
